I was inspired to create this card after seeing a layout by Danielle Flanders. Her's was a scrapbook page, but I used the basic idea and created a Christmas card. I am loving the new Basic Grey Christmas papers. The plaids and the traditional Christmas colors are great!

About a month ago I saw this new line by My Minds Eye at a scrapbook store and fell in love! It is vintage, and shabby and beautiful!

I created this little card with some of the new Basic Grey papers. I like that they are kind of masculine.

We have a craft event coming up for church - and one of the girls asked if I was interested in hosting a craft - so I came up with this fun Halloween wreath. I used a styrofoam ring and covered it with strips of muslin that I had sprayed with glimmer mist. I added wiggle eyes and some spider webs, as well as a framed sentiment. I think it's pretty cute - if I do say so myself. :-)

Have you seen the Graphic 45 Alice in Wonderland line? It was love and first site for me! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I couldn't wait to make something with these papers. Here's what I came up with:

Wow - I've been a seriously bad blogger these past several months. I do have an excuse though! I was the director for a girls camp for my church so all of my creative time was spent planning and executing that. I have made some cards...but I have failed to photograph them. :( But - I did come across a few photos I snapped with my iPhone. They are horrible quality, but it's all I got right now, ha ha!
In the coming weeks I hope to have a lot more to share, so stay tuned.
WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY
I created this card for Card Swap and I seriously love it - I love how it turned out, all vintage and shabby.

SOAK IT UP
This is another Card Swap Card - my theme was to create a shaped card...and my cute husband suggested a bath tub. This is what I came up with.
Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; Michaels - pearls, foil paper; Tim Holtz - saftey pin; Martha Stewart - glitter; Target - washcloth.

Today I wanted to share a few cards that I made for the Moms in my life. Lately I feel like I can't make a decent card. Do you ever go through that? I have made probably 5 cards recently that have gone in the trash. I hate going through these valleys in my creativity :-)
Anyway - onto the cards:
Supplies: Bazzill - cardstock; October Afternoon - patterned paper; K & Company - lace sticker, flower; Prima - chipboard; Jolees - lace, trim.
Supplies: DCWV - card base; Cosmo Cricket - patterned paper; Basic Basic - ribbon; Martha Stewart - twine; American Crafts - foam letters; K & Company - chipboard buttons.

This card was created for my friend Tara for her bday. I used more of the kit supplies I received from My Scrapbook Nook. Lots of My Minds Eye supplies!
